Art Basel Miami Beach commences with a captivating Cosmic Sound Voyage on Miami Beach. This innovative live sound healing to headphone experience is designed to guide attendees on an astral journey through the cosmos. The event begins with meditation elixirs courtesy of Orion Herbs. Each guest will be equipped with a set of headphones, marking the start of a guided meditation session. This initial phase includes movement and breathwork, seamlessly transitioning into live drumming and dance.
As the evening progresses, participants will recline and immerse themselves in the soundscape crafted by Jared Bistrong, the founder and director of the South Beach Sound Healing Orchestra, and Ali Kartalsuna, the founder of Tribal Galaxy. Their expertise converges to create a live galactic sound healing journey. The sonic blend of ancient flutes, shamanic drumming, singing bowls, gongs, handpans, and didgeridoos promises an unparalleled celestial voyage.
This immersive experience aims to rejuvenate and balance participants, leaving them in a state of blissful presence.
Attendees are advised to bring a blanket, mat, or towel for comfort during the session. Warm clothing is recommended, as participants often feel cold during sound healing sessions. Water and good vibes are essential for this experience. Due to challenging parking conditions, early arrival is suggested. The event is scheduled to start at 6:30pm near the 3rd Street Lifeguard Tower, just north of the location.
