Zen Retreat: A Matcha and Clay Experience

Guests will begin their journey with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony led by esteemed wellness instructor Mica Luna. Through the mindful preparation and presentation of ceremonial matcha, participants will experience a heightened state of focus and consciousness, fostering a profound sense of inner balance. This meditative ritual will seamlessly flow into a Reiki-infused meditation, where the harmonious sounds of Japanese bells and Tibetan singing bowls will guide guests through an immersive energy-healing session, deepening relaxation and awareness.
Following this moment of tranquility, attendees will engage in a hands-on ceramics experience led by renowned local ceramist Erica Lores. With intentionality and creative expression at the forefront, participants will sculpt their own matcha tea cup or bowl using high-quality stoneware clay. Each piece will be fired post-retreat, transforming raw clay into a functional work of art infused with personal meaning and mindfulness.
To further enrich the experience, guests will enjoy delectable offerings, including artisanal bagels from El Bagel, refreshing beverages by Kin Euphorics, delightful sweets crafted by Misha Bakes It, and stunning floral arrangements by Neroli Blume.

Ceramic Collection:
Each handcrafted ceramic piece will be clear glazed and fired after the retreat. Attendees will receive a notification when their pieces are ready for pickup at MOE Studio within 3-5 weeks.
