Youth Mental Health-Focused Coalition to Host Roundtable Event in Miami
Event will Feature Former Florida Member of Congress, National Mental Health Advocates,
Youth Advocates and Regional Nonprofit Organizations
MIAMI – On Wednesday, October 8, Coalition to Empower our Future (CEF) will host a
roundtable discussion that aims to explore the complex drivers behind declining youth mental
health and wellbeing, and the need for comprehensive solutions to address this challenge.
The roundtable will be moderated by CEF Board Member and former U.S. Congressman
Carlos Curbelo and Executive Director Glen Weiner.
The event will feature a broad range of voices and perspectives addressing the many
contributing factors that impact youth mental health and include a mix of national and local
organizations and nonprofits, mental health professionals and clinicians, and other regional
community leaders.
Congressman Curbelo and Glen Weiner will be available for interviews immediately before the
roundtable discussion.
