- Embark on a rhythmic exploration with Jared Bistrong of the Miami Sound Institute in this transformative 6-week introduction to hand drumming program. Delve into the basics of drumming, with a primary focus on the Djembe drum, while also exploring various facets of percussion instruments. Ticket Information:
- 6-Week Program: Recommended for beginners. After completing the 6-pack, participants can continue with discounted drop-in rates of $35.
- Optional Drop-In: $50/session. Modern ŌM Members pay $40 per drop-in.
Workout Session Details:
- Participants will learn the history, techniques, and exercises for different drums and percussion instruments.
- Traditional and non-traditional rhythms from around the world will be explored.
- Etiquette of drumming will be naturally acquired throughout the sessions.
Essentials to Bring:
- Bring Your Own Drum: Participants are required to bring their own hand drum. Jared will provide sample drums for the first class and assist in facilitating drum purchases.
