Issa Rae as Creative Director

Award-winning actress, writer, and producer Issa Rae, known for “Insecure” and “The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl,” will serve as the creative director. Rae aims to amplify underrepresented voices and bring fresh perspectives to the festival.

Celebrating 28 Years of ABFF

Founded in 1997, ABFF has become a cornerstone of Black storytelling, attracting over 5,000 attendees annually and 35,000 virtual participants. Sponsored by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), ABFF continues to foster careers and celebrate diverse stories in film and TV.
