Event Type
Immerse yourself in an evening of Kirtan, mantra music, and Bhakti Yoga with Radha & Benjamin at State of Yoga in Miami Beach. This transformative gathering invites participants to chant and sing sacred mantras in a joyful, uplifting atmosphere, creating a space for deep connection, spiritual elevation, and inner peace.
Kirtan is more than just music—it is a form of mantra meditation, a shared experience that transcends language and beliefs. Often described as a musical meditation or a spiritual sing-along, Kirtan fosters unity and harmony through participatory chanting. It has been embraced in the West, particularly within yoga studios and meditation communities, where its profound effects on emotional well-being, stress relief, and social connection are being increasingly recognized. Scientific studies suggest that group singing, such as Kirtan, serves as a powerful antidote to loneliness, fostering a sense of belonging and inner joy.
The term “Kirtan” originates from Sanskrit, meaning sharing, telling, or reciting. No prior musical experience is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to engage in the meditative rhythm of call-and-response chanting.
