DESCRIPTION:"The Veil" Masquerade is a mystical\, ceremonial event held on 
 the sacred night of October 31st at the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple\, whe
 re the boundary between our world and the spiritual realm becomes its thin
 nest. Rooted in ancient Celtic Samhain traditions\, this masquerade honors
  ancestors\, offering protection from malevolent spirits while celebrating
  the spiritual connection with the afterlife.\n\nSamhain\, celebrated as t
 he end of the harvest season and the dawn of winter\, was believed to blur
  the line between the living and the dead\, with spirits walking among us.
  In modern times\, this tradition has evolved into Halloween\, but "The Ve
 il" draws on its deeper\, sacred meaning. The ceremony allows participants
  to step into this realm through a night of spiritual connection\, masked 
 symbolism\, and enchanting performances.\n\nParticipants at "The Veil" wil
 l engage in a candlelight ceremony to honor ancestors and protect their en
 ergies. The temple will serve as a sacred space where you can leave offeri
 ngs or light candles for those who have passed\, paying homage to loved on
 es who have transitioned to the afterlife. The masks worn during this cele
 bration symbolize the everyday “costumes” of flesh concealing the divi
 ne essence within each of us.\n\nMusically\, "The Veil" will feature an ec
 lectic mix of live classical orchestral performances\, organ and piano pie
 ces\, and a DJ set. These musical acts will guide attendees through an oth
 erworldly journey of dance and reflection\, elevating the spiritual energy
