DESCRIPTION:Jared Bistrong\, a skilled instructor from the Miami Sound Inst
 itute\, invites participants to embark on a transformative journey through
  his six-week Introduction to Hand Drumming course. This engaging class is
  specifically focused on the Djembe drum\, offering students a comprehensi
 ve foundation in hand drumming that not only nurtures their personal medit
 ation and wellness practices but also fosters a vibrant drumming community
 .\n\nThroughout the course\, participants will explore the rich history of
  various drum rhythms and percussion instruments. They will learn essentia
 l techniques and exercises\, as well as proper drumming etiquette\, all de
 signed to enhance their skills and deepen their understanding of the art o
 f hand drumming. The curriculum emphasizes the development of a powerful c
 ultivation practice centered around drumming\, allowing students to experi
 ence the profound benefits of rhythm and sound in their lives.\n\nEnrollin
 g in this class grants students access to an extensive video tutorial libr
 ary\, enabling them to practice at home during the week between sessions. 
 This resource supports their learning journey and reinforces the skills ac
 quired in each class.\n\nAdditionally\, participants will have the excitin
 g opportunity to join a dynamic community of drummers and perform at live 
 wellness and music events with the South Beach Sound Healing Orchestra\, w
 hich regularly hosts large gatherings in the community.\n\nNo prior drummi
 ng experience is required to join this enriching course\; however\, partic
 ipants must have their own Djembe drum. For those who do not yet own a dru
 m\, Jared will have a selection available for sale during the first class 
 and is happy to assist students in finding and purchasing a drum before th
 e course begins.\n\nThis class is an excellent opportunity for individuals
